What awaits you

In this position, you will join our company’s structured B2B IT sales team and will be systematically introduced to your future tasks. The aim is to gradually develop you into a responsible role in account or key account management, in which you will independently manage and further develop customer relationships.

Right from the start, you will play an active role in expanding our (enterprise) business and gain an insight into complex sales processes in the IT environment. You will initially work closely with experienced colleagues and will take on increasingly independent tasks and areas of responsibility as you develop. In the future, you will be responsible for selected customers and for the successful management of sales projects and results.

Your tasks

  • Establishment, maintenance and further development of a qualified sales pipeline in the (enterprise) environment
  • Support in expanding existing customer relationships and acquiring new customers
  • Accompaniment of customer appointments and gradual assumption of own sales responsibility
  • Preparation of offers and participation in price and contract negotiations
  • Processing of tenders (RFI/RFP) with increasing personal responsibility
  • Close cooperation with our presales, consulting team and our manufacturers
  • Active contribution to the further development of our solution portfolio and market presence

What you bring with you

  • University degree or comparable qualification
  • Interest in IT solutions and digital business models
  • Experience in B2B sales with a focus on IT/software solutions
  • Ability to communicate complex technical solutions in an understandable way and position them successfully
  • Structured, goal-oriented way of working and high self-motivation
  • Strong communication skills and a confident manner in customer contact
  • Willingness to travel to customers, trade fairs and events
  • Eloquent and consultative communication style in German and English (at least C1)

Nice-to-have

  • First experience in dealing with enterprise customers in the IT software environment
  • Knowledge of bidding processes or tenders (RFI/RFP)
  • Understanding of complex sales cycles
  • Ambition to develop long-term in key account management
